The recurring theme of exposed building materials used to create interest common to many ReDesign projects was utilized in the creation of the BoxWood Sofa. Baltic birch plywood edges juxtaposed against the warmth of natural walnut veneer serve to call attention to the wedge that performs double duty as back rest and base. The arm rests play the varied roles of drink depository, extra seating surface, or occasionally, arm rests.
