Designed to house the practices of a Chiropractor and two Registered Massage Therapists, the Innercore Health Clinic was created as the un-clinic. Typical clinical elements were avoided in exchange for curious unexpected features throughout.
An uplit textured accent wall in the reception area commands attention upon entry into the space while exposed ductwork between bulkheads accentuates the open ceilings. Passage through the height-compressed hallway to the various treatment rooms also serves to highlight the full-height ceilings in the four treatment rooms. Natural light was brought as far into the space as possible through the use of frosted glass panels that serve to maintain privacy in the treatment rooms while providing connection to the outdoors.
