Our ideation meeting for the development of the 340 Concept office had us contemplating ‘The Avengers’, but in the end we landed on rock faces and rock climbing as our inspiration. The office design was developed in an effort for a real estate developer to convey the great potential of a currently derelict building, with a young IT firm as the target tenant.
An entirely build-able office concept was developed, complete with angular, rock face-inspired walls and reception station. In addition to the requisite formal meeting room, smaller collaborative meeting spaces were developed to provide an adaptable workspace. Production work surfaces were wrapped around the prominent concrete structural posts located throughout the space, and supported with climbing ropes tethered to various points on the ceiling.
While definitely a concept space, this is an office that we would be more than thrilled, and entirely able to occcupy.
